The Purpose of This Blog

The main reason I made this blog was because I’ve realized that while there currently exists an abundance of information on fitness and nutrition, much of it is complete and utter b.s., leaving many people who are seeking to learn more about how to live healthier, more active lifestyles in a state that prevents them from reaching their ultimate goals.  Why is there so much poor information out there?  There are many reasons, but I think the two most important ones are 1) anyone can post anything on the internet and 2) there are tons of people and companies out there that are constantly looking for ways to make a quick buck off of someone’s desire to do something.  The fitness and nutrition industry is definitely one of the largest sectors in which this exploitation happens, as there are tons of companies out there that have minted fortunes off of selling products that would do one no better than a gelatin pil filled with air.

Since I started working out at age 14, I’ve personally been the victim of following many poor ways of training and eating.  However, over the course of the past seven years, I’ve utilized the internet and consumed copious numbers of articles, blogs, forums, and journals learning more about the topics of fitness and nutrition, and now I can say with confidence that I’ve sifted through the b.s. and now see the light.

The goal of this blog is have someone who doesn’t know jack squat about anything fitness/health/bodybuilding/physique/nutrition related to read my posts and upon completion of reading them, have the confidence and knowledge to act on their goals and achieve them in the most efficient manner.  I believe that most of the information out there on fitness and nutrition leaves people thinking that the journey to achieve their fitness-related goals – be it building the physique of their dreams, improving their physical performance, living a healthier lifestyle, eating more nutritionally sound meals, or all of these things – is a road filled with extreme nuance and complication.  I think that this is the reason why so many people out there have failed to achieve what they want, and I’m here to change that. The reality is that this stuff is pretty simple.

Like Albert Einstein said, “If you can’t explain it simply, you don’t understand it well enough.”  I hope this blog serves each and every one of you well on your journeys to achieving your goals.
